My overall attitude towards the stat changes is mostly indifferent. I was going to play the game anyway, now I just may have to play it a little differently.

I am surprised however, that no one has raised what I think would have been possible solutions to the "power leveling" problem.

One - Don't have a reset every hour, perhaps every 12 hours or maybe ever 3.
-Self explanatory, would not allow for ridiculous level gains in a few days.

Two - Track damage from every fight. I.E. you aren't fully healed after a fight just because you win.
-Could allow lower levels/weaker players a chance at two hitting a tougher player and beating them
-Would act as a disincentive (if even slightly) because now much more money would have to be spent on healing.

I'm not sure that these measures would have adequately geared the game in the direction Jon wants, but I am curious why they weren't tinkered with first.

1: The hourly reset promotes activity.
Problem is that by changing it now you screw over the newer players just like they did on HBW

2: The health tracking did i suggest a couple times before as well, but didnt get any decisive feedback on it besides some nays from a couple players.

Personally, I like it how it's hourly reset. The stat gains were far too high anywho, so the stats being changed was the better plan. Especially since there were already level 300+'s. Which would have probably outraged more people. And there isn't enough of a player-base either.

That reminds me Bizzy, I'm tired of all these Hobowars references. What is the point on making a game exactly the same as Hobowars? They've already made Hobowars2. Originality is key

Oh, and Jon and I were thinking that we might divide everyone's cash by 100, double it, subtract $15,000, remove all weapon's/armour everyone has, then reimbursed them at 1/1000th the original price.
