Topic: Colony Giveaway #5

Goal: Come up with new stat gains for the weapons / armor. I realize that they need to be increased, so here's your opportunity to influence this process.

Optional: Come up with new prices.

Bonus: Come up with more entertaining descriptions for the items.

Details:
Changing the set stat gains into percentages is not an option.

If you already own a colony or do not wish to leave your current colony, you may choose to have the colony receive $1 million.

Do not post your submission here.

Colonies/people are free to collaborate, but the person to receive the colony or the colony to receive the cash must be specified when entering if this is the case.

Winner: Will be selected by me. According to my discretion, I may post a subset of the entries for a vote if I have trouble deciding.

What were supposed to do isn't exactly clear.

Are we to revamp the current weapons and the stats that they give, or to create entirely new ones?

The word "gains" is what's throwing me off I think.

the weapons/armor Potency, Girth, and Responsiveness gains or losses.

Seems too simple is all.

What happens in the case where you like certain parts of each submission?

If I use multiple people's, then the person whose I like the most of wins.

Who the hell uses MS Works? Can you export to an Excel format? (I see you can.)

Also, note: 2/22 = February 22nd.

It is pretty simple, sure, but I'd like to get a feeling of what people think is reasonable. Also: One giveaway just required drawing a picture of Poseidon. This is rocket science comparatively.

Man, after seeing the entries to that Poseidon competition I was so mad when I thought of how easily I could have won.

Valid point about the difficulty in comparison.
