So someone on hobowars called me a "inexperienced" aka a "noob". In that game I'm 205 days old and I guess that could have been a true statement if we were talking age, but still.. Experience wise I think I'm pretty well off.

Anyway, the meaning of this post is to ask.. Can anyone be a noob if the game has only been around for about 4 months? And who are considered the "older" players in this gang if we were looking at IDs.

I kind of see it with being a newb or noob.

Newb: Would be considered newbie. Kind of inexpierenced. Not to familiar with the game.

Noob: An offensive way of say the same thing above. It usually characterize the way a person acts. Like spamming, begging, etc.

I agree Madness. I may be a newb on hobowars .

If everybody was divided up into different fighting tiers I'm guessing that I would be in the second one. At least I'm not a Plant Noob.

I would say:

newb = someone who is new to something, and thus, doesn't understand it very well yet.

noob = someone who is not new to something, but still doesn't understand it very well yet.

Of course, something that someone says on the internet could mean anything really. That person may use noob as "a person I dislike" or "a person who didn't get the joke" or "someone young."

Usually, it is just used as a simple insult used to ruffle someones feathers, and has no meaning at all.

You need to level up before you can talk here.
