So, I was thinking.. (yes, maybe a surprise to most of you but I was. )

I think that it would be cooler if there were more players to boost the competition in the game. To help this, a referral system in which one gets a certain amount of cash for getting people to join the game would be the "prize". As DB stated donator days would be even more of an incentive I think - there would have to be a cap on this of course.

Thoughts?

something definitely needs to be done to entice more players.

What's stopping people from making multiple accounts though? I'm sure Jon doesn't want to go to the extra effort of finding out who's multi-ing and what-not.

It has worked for HW so why could it not work for here.
You could always set up a group for now and see if that gets some interest.
I would join for the shits and giggles but more so to hopefully entice people to join.

He`d need to put in some sort of IP tracking first that deletes the bitches that keeps making multi accounts

Didn't Hobowars discontinue the awards from referrals due to abuse?

I do like the idea, but to check for multi's, I have to manually check the logs to see who has logged in from the same IP..
