I think that Nolan made a Batman movie that comic book readers could enjoy.

It didnt feel like a comic book movie. It felt like a comic book on the big screen.

If you liked the movie you should read The Killing Joke by Alan Moore and The Long Halloween by Loeb. The movie was heavily based on those.

You should also read Batman Year One. Gordon really pwns awesome in it.

Also, you know they did the joker right after he kills someone and everyone in the theater starts laughing.
