Topic: Seen any good movies lately?

Jon and I are going to see Watchmen on Sunday. He says "It's not a date", but it's a date.

What movies have you seen lately? Were they any good?

I saw coraline with my Girl friend, it was good, but I thought it had too many emo moments, lmao

jarrod and i watched poultrygeist sunday night. it was a gem.

I saw Slumdog Millionaire a couple of weeks ago. That was a really good movie.

I'm also really looking forward to Watchmen.

What is Slumdog Millionaire about? Everyone seems to be talking about how great it is these days, but I really have no idea what the story is. I could do some research on my own, but I'm lazy. Can you just tell me?

BS and I watched Taken, it was pretty good, Liam is suuuuch a badass, ha.

Its about a kid from the slums on India's version of "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?" He is one question away from winning the top prize when the show breaks for the night and he is arrested and questioned. He explains to the police how he knew the answers to all the proceeding questions by recalling past memories... basically telling his life story up until this point.

Umm... its good.

slumdog's the screenplay version of a book titled Q & A. heard the author on npr the other day and made me want to watch it even more.
