Potency determines how much damage you deal when attacking. Cactus gain bonus potency (.005 * level) each time they train the potency attribute.
Girth determines how much damage you receive when being attacked. Girth can reduce damage received to 0. Trees gain bonus girth (.005 * level) each time they train the girth attribute.
Responsiveness determines how likely you are to attack in a fight. Flowers gain bonus potency (.005 * level) each time they train the responsiveness attribute.
Health is how much damage you can receive before becoming knocked out. Your maximum health is increased each time you gain a level. The first number is your current health. The second number is your maximum health. When your health reaches 0, you become knocked out. When knocked out you can neither attack nor be attacked by other plants. You can refill you remaining health by clicking "Health" and paying the fee of ten times your level. Your remaining health is also refilled to maximum every hour on the hour.
Experience determines when you gain a level. The first number is your current experience towards the next level. The second number is total amount of experience required to advance to the next level. Every time you win a fight, you gain an amount of experience equal to 10 times the opponent's level (10 times your level difference as a bonus experience, if you defeat player that has higher level than you). The amount of experience required to advance to the next level is 100 times your current level.
Fertilizer is used for attacking and for training. You use 5 fertilizer to attack another plant, and 10 fertilizer when training. The first number is your current fertilizer, and the second number is your maximum fertilizer. All characters have a maximum of 100. 5 fertilizer is replenished every 10 minutes (donators receive 10 every 10 minutes). Miracle-Gro will replenish 10 fertilizer, but can only be used 5 times each reset. Coca will increase the maximum fertilizer to 150, but can only be used once a day.
Money is used to buy weapons, armor, and Miracle-Gro in the shop. When you defeat an opponent in a fight, you take half of the money they are carrying. You can store your money in the bank to prevent others from stealing it. Each reset all players receive 20 dollars. You can sell your jars of honey for 1000 dollars each. Money can also be gained through digging.
