They feel a strong need to call the whales endangered- hence the low population estimates- current figures are well in excess of 20k although I will grant your contention that they are only recovering- not recovered- as far as interspecies kill teams go- I AM a hunter and if I appreciate the grace and beauty of an orca pod that needs a human spearman to take out a blue whale- that is simply part of who I am- and if you do not see the beauty of quite disparate species forming long term teams to accomplish common goals, well, I guess we disagree on that. |
